Jesus is the Answer for our world.
Who is Jesus?
Jesus has always existed, along with God the Father and the Holy Spirit. He is the eternal Son of God. Jesus came to earth as a human, born as a baby to a virgin named Mary, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

He walked the Earth during the first century and perfectly obeyed all the Law of the Old Testament. Even when He was tempted to disobey God (sin), He chose to obey. Jesus became human, but He never sinned even once. (2 Corinthians 5:21, Hebrews 4:15)
The entire life and death of Jesus happened in God's timing, by God's power, and to keep all of the promises in Scripture that were made long before Jesus arrived on earth.

On the third day, after Jesus was crucified on the cross and buried in the tomb, God raised Jesus from the dead! This is called the resurrection. Every promise was fulfilled in Jesus!

Jesus was handed over to the authorities who wanted to kill Him, and they sentenced Him to death on a cross. Jesus chose to give up His life for our sins, even though He did not deserve to die. Jesus's death on the cross paid the price for the sin of all humans, so that we can have a relationship with God. Without Jesus sacrificing His life, we would be separated from God forever. (Romans 3:23-24, 5:6-11, 6:23)

After the resurrection, Jesus appeared to His disciples and hundreds of others. Later on, Jesus went back up into heaven, as many of His followers watched (see Luke 24). He is now seated at the right hand of God in heaven. God sent His Holy Spirit to live in everyone who believes and trusts in Jesus as Lord and Savior!
